I would like to say that this hotel was good and have very good breakfast too, I have visited some historical place that was super tiring yet so happy to be here.I will definitely come again for another trip. The weather this month of May also nice. More like summer time and everyone love to be outside,i saw baby with parent, kids and teenagers spending very good time.

When I checked in at the hotel, I failed to open the room twice with the key front desk gave me, the third time, he went up with me, and opened the room with the staff key, and there were people inside the room!!??

The staff just simply said it was not his fault and said he would give me a room with balcony to make it up, when I went to the new room, there was no balcony at all. I was too tired to change it again. Later on, when I asked him, he smiled and said, yes, I told you I would give you room with balcony, but there was no room with balcony. He didn’t feel he did anything wrong at all??!!

The next day before I checked out from the room, a guy just opened my door with a key directly??! When he saw me, he just said sorry and left immediately. I assumed this was a guy from housekeeping, but it was my first time saw hotel staff opened the room without any notice at all!!

I wanted to raise a complaint before I left the hotel, the front desk was very rude, and threw a name card to me and said the manager didn’t want to see me, if I wanted to say anything, just wrote an email. And he didn’t even ask what I felt wrong at all.

Also, there’s no leash lock inside the room at all, which means your room can be opened by these unprofessional staffs at anytime!

Please stay away from this hotel for your own safety!!

When a big group of the travel agency arrived on 15/07/2022 at 20:00, the porter was not ready to take the clients' luggage from the coach, and not even all the rooms for a big travel agency were ready.
The reception gave clients rooms keys that were dirty, not cleaned after previous clients and the rooms were absolutely unprepared.
The man at the reception repeatedly gave the clients of the travel agency the key to other rooms, which were also not ready, and the arrogant man at the reception did not even apologize to the clients.
The man at the reception repeatedly issued uncleaned rooms to clients until he hit on a room that had just been cleaned and acted as if nothing had happened.
The client had to return from uncleaned room back to the reception several times and repeatedly ask to have the room which is cleaned and prepared.

Clean rooms, modern hotel, not central but 20 mins away by transportation, breakfast simple yet fresh and nice. But... really need to work on training staff for patience and respect to customers and helpfulness. Bad attitude and aggressive replies are really a down to this hotel. Smile please. I never ever saw any front desk staff even smiling at the hotel. Except restaurant staff i hv to say were so welcoming and all smiling and polite.

Receptionist was incredibly rude upon checkin- came off as annoyed to be interacting with anyone, even coworkers. Carpet in the halls and room are horribly stained about every 2 feet- it’s wild! Mattress was busted- maybe missing springs? But the entire right side of the mattress basically didn’t support weight, so, you kind of rolled off towards the floor if you were on the outer 5-8 inches. We put the towels outside for changing and housekeeping never came by to refresh them. The internet isn’t really fast enough to do meaningful work/meetings, but fine for phone and general browsing use. AC is advertised, so it’s worth mentioning that we had it on 19c and we’re sweating in the room from about 9 pm to 5 am. Around 10 am it seemed to cool better.
Location is great- walking distance from train station and groceries, breakfast was great, and everything else about the room was fine.

The hotel has a good value for money ratio. It is next to the holiday inn express so don't get confused. The room was clean as in most IHG hotels and the stuff is polite. It has a small fidge, a safe and an iron. Easy check in and check out. The breakfast is good. Not huge but enough and well prepaped. They have pancakes! You can order coffe all day. They have a bar restaurant that opens from 5 to 10 am. With good weather it works at the 4th floor at the terrace. They have spaghetti, some burgers, ceasar salad chicken wings and a couple of other items. I didn't like that they don't have any side salads at all. It is a bit expensive but the food is well prepared. One day they had an all you can eat barbeque for 25euros. I think that was a bit too much for the variety of the foods. Personally I am not a fan of the "all you can eat" thing. The gym was nice and clean. It has a row machine, two bikes, elliptical machice and a treadmill. Also dumbels, and one of those multi functional machines with weights. It has also a water supply but, both times I went there there were no cups. Nice surprise it had towels! The s-bahn station less than 10 minutes away and the bus stop is in front of the hotel. You can reach Marienplatz in 20-25 minutes by S bahn.

Good hotel, comfy and clean.
Service is okay as it looks as if they are serverely understaffed.

Why I'm giving this hotel two stars? WiFi is abysmal. I had to end up using my hotspot for work. Even in the executive floor rooms there are no WiFi extenders. I got 1.95D/.76U. Horrendous. How am I supposed to work while here. I used my phone hotspot and drained 20GBs of data in 3 days. This was the Holiday Inn not even the Express. The chain management should feel embarrassed.
