This was a cool place where everyone was swimming and surfing. A lot of people were standing on the sidelines watching the surfers. This is located near the English gardens as well as under a bridge. The artificial wave seem pretty strong. Good times.

It is truly amazing place to enjoy surfing attraction in the middle of a city. Literally on the side of a main road where all types of transportation are crossing. Fresh air and clean water make it really comfortable to sit and enjoy it during a summer time.

Lots of reviews so this one is a drop in the ocean, but every drop count. We stumbled upon this while bike riding through the park... sat for 20 minutes watching these talented people. You won't be disapointed!

Located in Englishgarden under the bridge where all public transports pass and next to Bavarian national museum. an artificial powerful wave of the Isar and talented surfers trying to hold as much time as they can on the water. always crowded and relaxing like a cool afternoon on a sunny munich day.

Amazing to see people surfing in the middle of the city! We watched for almost half an hour while surfers lined up to take their turn on the man made wave. The water is turned up by concrete beneath. The result is a permanent wave that can be ridden. The water moves swiftly so only experienced surfers should try this. It's hilarious to watch someone ride by on a bike dressed in a wetsuit, and carrying a surf board under one arm, in the middle of a park.

a must-see in munich. no matter the season, weather and time of day, you'll always find surfers out there. even if it's freezing or dark out there, there are newbies as well as experienced men and women trying their luck. watching, filming and photographing is free and permitted, it's safe as long as you stay away from the water as a non-surfer and the location is perfect right on the edge of the park, around the corner from several cafés and right by a bus and tram stop as well as a parking lot. bring coffee, snacks and some time!

One of the best places in Munich. On a sunny day many people come for Surfing. It's amazing. And you can enjoy nature and water.
