A memorial of the end of the Berlin Wall. It’s actual an original piece of the real wall ???? donated by the former Vice President of the German Parliament in 1996.
There’s also the ‘Memorial for Freedom and Unification’, made for the 30th anniversary of German Reunification.
The steel-light-sculpture will illustrate a permeable wall for passersby, I really liked the thoughts behind ????☺️✨

On the western side of the English Gardens is this monument and memorial. The monument is a part of the Berlin Wall, erected on Koniginstrasse in 1996, to mark the 35th anniversary of the beginning of the construction of the Berlin Wall and to stand for a "memorial for freedom and reunification". Maybe it should've been in a more prominent location to achieve that.

Einst das Symbol für Trennung ist es Teil der deutschen Geschichte und wurde durch Berkan Karpat und Rainer Ludwig mit einer Licht-Stahl-Konstruktion die eine durchlässige Mauer symbolisieren soll in Szene gesetzt.
