Excellent hot chocolate. Please mention you will close the coffee counter 30 mins earlier. Also, cakes are available only in the summer it seems. So there aren't things to eat. Good service.

Homemade chocolates to die for ????. I got lost on my way here but it’s totally worth it. Hostess was extremely friendly and attentive.

It was far far the best coffee I had in Munich. They have real classic Italian style espresso. Only a few places to sit but you should try. They have superb small pastry with marzipan and other flavors. Just on the side of the market a place to visit for specialties.

We visited Chocolaterie Beluga at Viktualienmarkt during our recent visit to Munich and enjoyed the chocolates purchased here.

This is a popular place for hot chocolate and you'll find quite a few locals enjoying a cup during your visit. There is also a small retail section of various chocolates, gelato and other chocolate treats.

We purchased several bags of alpine, milk and dark chocolates (€4.50 for 9-10 pieces), finding them to all taste rather nice. We particularly liked the milk caramel and plain dark chocolates.

This was the only chocolate shop we tried in Munich so not sure how they fare compared to peers around the city. However, we were happy with our purchases from Beluga and would be happy to pick up chocolates from this shop again in the future.
