When visiting Munich my wife and I go here nearly every morning. The staff are wonderful and the food is amazing. Great little European cafe.

We stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to rest our feet.. Excellent food and service! Waitress was excellent and super friendly!

I was hesitant to walk in as 4 police officers were at the door, however took my courage in hand and walk in @ Cafe San Pietro for a double espresso, It was the best decision! Coffee was SUPER good.

I walk 2.5km back after shopping around to simply get another one! One of the best coffee I had in Munich so far!

10.- EU for a piece of mediocre tasting cake and a cup of normal coffee -- a rip off. Only cash payment , as if there is something to hide. Assume the good comments are paid for. The cafe next door, Zöettl, serves the same for half the price. Tourist trap.

I was actually on my way to another café in my list when I stumbled upon San Pietro, decided that the cakes in the Vitrine looked good, and went inside.
Glad I did. We were lucky to find a table, because it was quite packed. I ordered a Haferl Kaffee (4,60) and stared at the myriad cakes, undecided.
After getting recommendations from the very nice server, I went with a red berry cheesecake and profiteroles cake.
At 3,90 a slice, it's unbelievable what you get. A giant, delicious cake slice, and I could only finish them because I had company.
Solid recommendation. Keep in mind they don't accept cards.

Exceptionally delicious cakes! I had Flocken sahne layered cream cake. Serving size is big. The cream is fresh, soft, light with a pinch of rum and lemon zest. Super delicious! Staff are nice, warm and friendly. The cafe is small but cozy. We love it.
