Fantastic place. Really friendly staff and people, we looked at the sky with several huge telescopes. On Monday night, there are tours in English and they all speak perfect English. Amazing place. We will come again

I took my husband here for a private tour for his birthday. Our guide Mr Wichmann was a very nice person. Our tour was supposed to be for 90 minutes and because of our mistake, we reached 30 minutes late. Even then, he gave us the complete tour which took 2 hours 10 minutes. My husband really enjoyed discussing about different topics with Mr. Wichmann throughout the tour. Our guide was highly knowledgeable.

This observatory u0026 planetarium is an excellent option for your evening. The guides show you so many interesting things in the sky! They are very knowledgeable, funny, u0026 also gave us tricks u0026 tips for star gazing. I would highly recommend ???? especially for students, of every field u0026 for every sci-fi fan. But of course it is open for all age groups. The tickets were at 6€/head u0026 we visited on a Monday (English). However, it was told to us that 'if youhave a group and you want to have an English guide any other day, it can be requested'.
PS: While there we also saw this rare phenomenon called 'moon dog' which also became colourful (in the photo below)

A place to go for all star lovers, discoverers of the universe, planets and astronauts, astronomers and astrology’s here is your space. It’s a very unique, special and charismatic place. It’s little but I love the family atmosphere.
Guys getting a tour in the little show room with explanations to the planet systems and also get to see lots of other interesting things. Then you can see the in-house planetarium. It is small but so unique. I have never seen something so intimate and special like this one. Due to it is all smaller you get touched very easily by the atmosphere and how this is explained. Be prepared all tours are different and individual.
After that you get to the top of the building to see the massive telescopes and all the great and also unique equipment they build themselves. If the weather is great you get to see all lot in the universe.
They also have a little store where you can buy things. Entrance fee is totally fine. Leave a little tip if you liked it.
Parking around the streets is no problem.
Finding the entrance. On the corner Anzinger Straße and Rosenheimer Straße there is a little way to the inner courtyard walk through there straight. The entrance is on the left side 145h so you can make a circle walk left around or right. Take the entrance door and use the small or big elevator into the 4/5th floor it’s written. Voila than you are there.
Enjoy it and bring your kids. They are more than welcome here.

Thank you for the enriching experience. My 4yo boy who loves all things space enjoyed himself tremendously. Special thanks to the elderly man manning the counter, he was very kind to my kids despite the language differences.
