Visited Munich with my daughter and stayed at the 25 Hours Munich. The hotel is quirky and fun. The bar was one of our favorites on our 2 week European trip. Our room was clean and mostly quiet. We had a room across the street from the train station and could hear the trams that run during the night. I have to agree with other reviewers that the rooms are a bit funky. Very dark, with not great lighting and very little space to put clothes away or hang them up. However, the staff was outstanding and extremely friendly. There are a few options for breakfast, from a quick take away pastry and coffee, to their buffet breakfast. The buffet breakfast is a bit pricey for what you get, but it was a quick and easy way to have breakfast before we started our day. Overall, I would stay there again. The location is very convenient!

Good points: It's decorated nicely.
Breakfast was nice (albeit expensive for what it was)
Bar is really lovely
Staff were great
Room was super quiet. Couldn't hear anything from outside.
Location is great. Easy to get everywhere.

Bad points:
Rooms are very small and not ideal if there's two of you (the toilet door didn't close in my room). Toilet is separate from sink and shower too.

Shower was impossible to get to a nice temperature because of the two taps. And the shower head kept falling down.

Sink had no plug. (Not really that bad, but frustrating for me).

Gym was a tiny room with only a cross trainer and a bench. Small weights. Not really a "gym"

Overall nice vibe, but too much emphasis on decoration and being "hip" rather than practicalities. Probably wouldn't stay again.

Positive : Friendly staff and clean hotel with a hipster vibe. Hot water in the shower, nice rain shower with excellent water pressure.

But the rooms are so dark, you can’t see properly. I guess it’s supposed to look romantic but I like bright rooms and would have liked the option to turn on some extra lights. My colleagues also didn’t like that. One said he couldn’t shave because it was too dark…

No proper wardrobe. (You can hang your clothes on a tiny on a bar under the ceiling that’s maybe 3 meters high.- That’s a joke. )

Sink was in the room, not in the bathroom. Maybe to make it wheelchair accessible? Otherwise I don’t see an advantage of making it that way…?

Towards the street the rooms are super noisy and smoke comes into the room from smokers who hang out below on the street. Also lots of drunk people hang out there and have loud conversations. If you like to keep the windows open for fresh air, it’s too noisy. With windows closed it’s fine.

Cannot say enough great things about this chain of hotels.

My husband and I recently stayed in Munich as a stop over on our European Honeymoon vacation and 25hours gave us such a special stay. We were upgraded to the Peacock Suite (which was GORGEOUS!!!!) and when we entered the room we had a lovely handwritten note from the staff congratulating us on our honeymoon. This detail was such a touching surprise for us when we arrived in Munich and really shows that their staff goes above and beyond.

Aside from this, the hotel is unique, funky, charming, creative, clean, and all around just a fun place to be. Perfect location being right across the street from the train station and close to many landmarks, as well as a convenience store downstairs and rapid transit out the front door. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. The lobby is filled with quirky decor, as is the rest of the hotel. make sure to check out the miniature shadow boxes in both elevators. In terms of amenities, they have very interesting touches that I have never seen at a hotel before. The fourth floor has a fantastic sauna and spa room for relaxing. Your room comes equipped with a portable bluetooth speaker and a recycled backpack/day pack that you're encouraged to use around town. Minibars in your room are all inclusive with a variety of non-alcoholic options, and each hotel has a really funky bar and restaurant. The food in the restaurant was incredible - we actually left our really fancy reservation somewhere else to come to the hotel restaurant instead and had a wonderful experience. This chain heavily promotes conservation of water and energy, and seems to have found the perfect touches for everything. Can't say enough good things about the Munich hotel and the chain in general.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are quite spacious and have a cool design. Service is efficient. Only negative is the fact that it was too hot during the night and slightly noisy.
Location is great.
Breakfast was very nice, shame I didn't have time to order some eggs as I was late for a meeting.

Nice from the outside and pretty fancy form the inside. However maybe a little to much playing. The rooms are rather small and in my opinion not very comfy. If this is Bavaria I don't like it. As the hotel is close to the main station it's surrounded by tram. Try to get a room inside so hear less noise but then also with less light. Not the type of hotel I like but very clean and the service is friendly. Get in and find out yourself.

The bar staff was exceptionally nice but thats another story.

Nice hotel offering comfortable rooms which have that typical 25hours vibe to it. Big fan of the super friendly staff that males you feel like home. Enjoy some of the good spa features on the top
floor and also the tasty dinner at Neni (Israeli inspired cuisine). Breakfast is good but not great for the quite high price point. There could be more fruit and bread options. Other similar boutique hotels offer a finer collection. You have such an amazing bar/table in the middle of the restaurant. Use it :-)
Other than that thanks again for making my stay comfortable as always
