Please listen to me. Do not come to this university unless you are a native German. Although they advertise the University as an international school and all you need to know is English, this is a lie. The university and its professors, and staff, especially in the social science department will make you feel less. They do not care you are a foreign student. They do not care if you are new to Mannheim. Do not think this will be an enjoyable experience. Aside from the typical German Culture shock (which is normal) get ready to be treated like you do not matter at this university. They just care if you pay tuition. The professors here act like they don't want to even be professors. They do not try to connect to you. They do not try to make sure you understand. There is also a general lack of communication at the university. Also the digital infrastructure at this university which says they are " Number one in Business" "Data science forward" it is all a lie. Get ready to use technology from the early 2000's. Please there are way better universities in Germany. Do not come to this university as an foreign student. It will not be worth the experience.

One of the best business universities in Europe. Great professors and students lead to an easy path forward to find a good job or stay in the academia.

It was a great experience studying at Uni Mannheim. Most of Professors were very competent. The network is really great. I am proud of being a Mannheimer here :)

The teachers certainly wouldn't help you cultivate appreciation for their culture or language. Most of them are brusque, and some don't even turn up on time. Make sure you're able to find someone to read the fine prints for you, as they don't bother giving you advise. City of Mannheim itself is a livable place, and the people on the street are generally nice, but I certainly wouldn't recommend this place.

Edit: I should say that my review is in reference to the preparatory school, not the University itself, which seems to have a pretty high rating.
