10/5 stars!! The staff was welcoming and so helpful with recommendations. They offer two predetermined flights at a great price. A really efficient way to sample their thirst quenching beer. They offer 2 vegan pizzas which, big fan of having something for everyone on the menu (I have a food allergy to dairy). The atmosphere is very relaxed, we felt comfortable and can't wait to come back!

We went here for the grand opening party of the brewery. There was beer, food and live music all day and night. The beer is great. The food was lovely too. If you love IPA’s there won’t be a better place in Germany to go than Sudden Death. Thank you Steven for a weekend we’ll never forget! We’ll definitely be back.

Probably the only craft brewery taproom in Lubeck, large spacious premises inside (where you can see the working brewery) and out. Lots of their own brews on tap, pizza available food wise. Decent venue, but some staff were a bit moody (although one kindly offered to give us a free beer to move from our seats to make way for a larger group, which we declined as we had to head back to Hamburg), and a fair distance away from Lubeck Hauptbahnhof

Visited Sudden Death on a Wednesday night and fell so much in love I came back on Thursday and Friday as well. Great beer, great pizza and some of the most welcoming and wonderful staff I've ever encountered in Europe. Everyone from servers to bartenders to brewers were an absolute delight and made every visit a real treat. An absolute must in Lübeck if you have any interest in beer. Hell, go there anyway! /Friendly Swedish Guy
