Because of it's location I was reluctant to eat here, because it felt like a tourists' restaurant. It may be the case but the food was great!
I've had an amazing blood sausage and a suprizingly good steak!
Prices are very fair.
The terrace is lovely on a nice day.

Worth a visit!

Exceptionally cozy, traditional German atmosphere. Huge portions, the traditional schnitzel is fantastic, and the catch of the day was Dolorado fish, which was one of the tastiest we've tried. Great beers and very reasonable prices. Not gourmet by any means, but exactly what you want out of this kind of place! Warm service and overall just a great experience for lunch!

Lovely place! Amazing view, great staff that's super friendly and joking around. And amazing food. Definitely recommend!

Nice location next to the water. We were lucky to get a table for four when we arrived for dinner. Normally you need to wait a little bit, suggesting to make reservations before you visit. The food was delicious, the chicken in the Caesar salads as super tender and juicy. The waiters were also nice and friendly.

Good food and at a good location. Prices were slightly more expensive than other restaurants we've been to in Germany in a similar location.

Great location. Great food. Great service.
If you want to sit on the side of the Lübeck canal in sight of the Holstentor Museum, in the cool of a summer afternoon, drinking cold beer and eating very good German fare.. then you can’t go wrong with Potter’s.
