Friendly staff but really poor beer selection - only two Kostritzers (pils and Kellerbier) and something else. The staff were dealing with misbehaving foamy beer and it took ages to get a beer. Didn’t eat here but the food looked like pretty hearty traditional German fare.

Great vibe. Felt very local. Not a typical tourist hang out. Schnitzel cordon bleu was excellent. Good beer, great service. I would eat here again.

Took us one hour to get our food although the restaurant wasn't full. No discount offered on the bill.
The food was mediocre.

Incredibly large portions of standard German dishes. Lots of meats and fried things to choose from. I didn't try any of the salads but the schnitzel is roughly the right size if you skipped lunch entirely. The staff were very friendly and we were accommodated graciously in English since our German is nonexistent. Show up a little early without any worries the place will just be a bit quieter with the same friendly service. It was a little warm inside which makes the customers sad but keeps the flies happy. I didn't get a chance to try any if the desserts but I'm glad that I went to a German bierhaus at least one time.

Cosy and friendly place. Food is basic and nice. Friendly staff. Very atmospheric.
