Decent food, but didn’t live up to the reviews. The onion soup was great, but everything else was lacking. The steak was way undercooked, the burger came without a top bun, and the sides were decent, but not what we were expecting for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful, though they did seem to be spread thin as the place was really busy. Not sure why, but we were the only people there under the age of 65.

The steak was pretty good, although not a 5 star. The staff were friendly and nice, grwat atmosphere.

It has a really good ambience. We enjoyed it a lot. Food was great and stuff was too helpful and polite. I definitely recommend it and i will go again if i go lubeck next time.

Food was good as always, but the night we were there they were clearly heavily understaffed. Even the hostess/manager was so busy preparing drinks and salads that it took quite some time until we were greeted at the door. You can tell that Block House is suffering from inflation as well, because the steaks are getting pretty expensive...

I'm a vegetarian (ended up here for a work dinner) and there were several great options. Wine menu is pretty good; venue was formal enough to entertain for work but not overly stuffy.

I have been to many Block House restaurants and usually had good service and good food. This visit was a bit different from what I am used to. We were 8 visiting togeather and a lovely waitress took our order but another waitress brought the food and messed everything up and had litlw to no i terest in assisting or figuring out who ordered what. Om top of that at least 4 orders were not cooked as requested but one was way off and was sent back. The first waitress came back to try to fix the mess but returned with not what was asked for. By that time we had more or less given up and just ate what we got. To top it all when the waitress was removing dishes and cutlery she dropped it on the back of one of our guest. So, out of all visits to Block House restaurants, this was the worst one and so far the only bad one.
