Looking for a fast and healthy meal that is entirely affordable? The Fish Temple quickly became our local Travemuende harbor favorite. The staff is super friendly and will go out of their way to make you happy. Best fish sandwiches ever and really the best fries too! (They're called pommes frites)
Pick a fish and get it on fresh crispy bread, served with lettuce and onion. Drink choices include plenty of alcohol, sodas or the staple offer of water-still or water-sparkling. This is the taste of northern Germany!
Beware: watch out for the hungry seagulls, they can dive bomb themselves onto your food, straif you and cause you to drop your sandwich or they pull out the fish and leave you the empty roll. The fish Temple does warn all their customers. There are plenty of safe spots to eat, like the floating domed barge.

No service - waited for 30 min with out any service at all. “Busy” serving others though ????

I had an amazing dinner here. Our waiter was attentive, humorous and very knowledgeable about the fishes we were served. We tried the smoked fish platter, and it was delicious. Relaxed and welcoming ambiance, beer on tap and an assortment of fresh fish! Make sure to ask what the morning catch is, as it's not written on the menu.

Why 3/5? Fish sandwich was great, the place was very comfortable, but we lived an awkward situation due to a discussion between two waiters

The tastiest fish that I've ever tasted. Service is rather quick. I recommend it.

Good fish for decent prices. I loved the smoked fish with bread more than the main dishes.
