Lovely restaurant in the heart of Lübeck. Home brewed beer, tasty Schnitzel and flawless French fries. New and fresh toilets to make it an even better experience. Service was top notch. Also - you can charge your phone at the entrance for €1 if you’re low on juice. I highly suggest trying this restaurant out!

I found the staff to be very pleasant and the food was never disappointing. Had different dishes across the times I had dinner and I would have to recommend for the first visit the Brewers Feast along with a pitcher of beer to help digest everything! Germans know how to serve a good amount of food and they do that without losing any taste or quality! The food was tasting wonderful. I highly recommend. Thank you!

Don’t miss the environment of this medieval restaurant. The Eisbein mit sauerkraut was delicious. Everybody was ordering this one. The beers is a perfect option to harmonize with the main courses. Be there and be Brauberger zu Lübeck.

To be entirely honest: This wasn’t the kitchen and dish I was expecting when going into a location with 4.5 Stars. The waiters were very friendly and the location was fairly nice. But the menu was short and the dish from a modular-style kitchen. Everything was pre-prepared. For like 4 or 5 stars I was missing the wow-factor. Some kind of dish that you can’t find anywhere or something grilled to perfection.

So, this location is nice. But nothing I’d recommend to a friend.

This restaurant is much larger than it looks from the outside. They brew there own beer and have a tasting flight. Good German food

If you want to enjoy an historical place while eating German style food, this is a must.
Staff are really attentive and fast.
A tip, if you want to have your meal without much noise do not go to the "Biergarten" or to the "Keller".

This place was incredible. First time in Lübeck and we were so happy to have pitchers with Student Price from amazing tasting beer. Since the asparagus are in season, we ordered asparagus with vegetarian lasagna. The food was incredible and the portions huge! As vegetarians, we were delightfully surprised we could have options on the menu from a typical German restaurant and we still got the taste of German food. The staff was very helpful and the place is historically so well kept it was a whole experience to actually have been in the bier cellar. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to enjoy great beer and great food with great ambience and feel a little history on your surroundings.
