I accidentally walked into this newly opened restaurant referred by another restaurant. Was very impressed by their retro decoration, very nice attitude and fish dish. The staff and restaurant owner came to each table for our thought about the food. It is a great experience for me and my mum who just arrived in Lübeck. Thumb up!

It might be one of historic places in the city to be visited. However it needs some improvements. Service is quite slow. The food is not so special compare to its high price.

Everyone else had game for their main course. Very well prepared with a wonderful game sauce. Although the service was very nice, it cannot quite meet the demands of the kitchen in the house. More training is needed here. Aperitif, queries, wine training, appearance.
But in Corona times everything is still OK! I am happy that this establishment continues to have high standards of service and cuisine.

Wir waren mit 8 Personen am 2. Weihnachtstag dort. Die Speisen werden mit viel Sachverstand und Liebe von Herrn Steffen und seinem kleinen Team zubereitet. Der Service war reibungslos und sehr nett. Wir alle waren sehr zufrieden und können das Schabbelhaus sehr empfehlen. Meine Tochter fand den Kabeljau ganz vorzüglich. Meine Frau war mit Ihren Buchweizenhauptgang auch sehr zufrieden. Alle anderen hatten Wild zum Hauptgang. Sehr gut zubereitet mit einer wunderbaren Wildsauce. Der service war zwar sehr nett und kann aber dem Anspruch der Küche des Hauses nicht ganz folgen. Hier braucht es mehr Schulung. Aperitif, abfragen, Weinschulung, Auftreten.
Aber in Coronazeiten alles noch OK! ich bin glücklich, dass dieses Haus weiterhin einen hohen Anspruch an Service und Küche pflegt.

Gerade bei den Hauptgerichten eine sehr sehr klassische Menüsprache, nur Variation an Standard-Beilagen. Geschmacklich sehr gut und schöne Location. Service etwas langsam aber es wurde sich entschuldigt mit Verweis auf das volle Restaurant.
Sehr klassische gute Küche...
