It's a magnificent place to come together with nature and enjoy some lovely walks without being too far away from City Centre. The playgrounds are also very good for children and excellent for family visits

Really enjoyed coming here with the grandparents. Such a quiet oasis that will be sure to calm a weary soul. Amazing Spielplatz in the park as well! My daughter loved it.

Amazing, beautiful, peaceful and doesn't cost anything (but you shoule bring change so you can feed the animals)

Great huge park with a beautiful big playground for kids, with a mini zoo which is free of charge.

Great zoological park in the south of Leipzig which will cost you nothing at all????????????

Here you can watch deers, goats, elks, foxes and other small native European animals. Don’t expect lions and those other special like animals. You can find them in the real zoo in Leipzig. ????????????????
You can also buy animal food from machines there for just one euro.

If you want to chill and have a meal, then checkout the small “Russian” bistro in the park. This one was built during the socialist era when East Germany was a country on it’s own.
There is also another small place, where you can have the typical German Bratwurst and other stuff, and a big restaurant, where you might have to pay more.

Beautiful place the nature here is spectacular but you should be able to walk a lot which is something I personally enjoy so it was a good experience visiting this lovely place.
