Enjoyed the cafe fresh, vegetable forward options on the street side terrace. Had the Couscous salad, Chicken curry dishes and wine. Good service, English menu, multiple in u0026 outside station areas. Same owner, slightly different menu than Kaiserbad in Westwerkhalle Plagwitz. Accessible rest-area.

Nice place run by the unions, and on Karl Leibkneckt Strasse. What's not to like?

Ambiance is beautiful and service is good but the food... English breakfast was very poor regarding portion, especially the beans and bread which are the cheapest ingredients. Usually everything comes in a plate together and not in tiny bowls. Bread should be at least more than 2 toasts and definetely white bread, better quality like sourdough and not the cheapest sandwich bread in the supermarket would be acceptable. No seasoning at all. Probably the beans were heated in the microwave. The fried eggs one was fine, the other overdone. The Cappuccino was incredibly small and for some reason in germany they do just one shot of coffee which leaves it super milky. I was offered a second shot so was charged for that and it wasn't like real cappuccino still, super milky, you can barely taste any coffee, a normal strong coffee shouldn't be something weird. Then they also give marmalade and butter but with just two toasts I didn't have enough bread to try that. Again, germany gastronomy has no love in the food, which is why it never truly satisfies.

Nice breakfast. Lovely seating outside and good coffee. It was a nice experience! Doesn’t have me going back ever single week like the Vintage Bike Cafe in Berlin but it is nice.
