Panorama Tower - Plate of Art

Well, the first let-down was the view. No window seat and we were left to stare at the panorama of a rather mondane wall that did not really warrant coming up a high tower. When confirming our reservation, information about non-availability of window seats would have been refreshing and transparent. Something one can expect from a quality establishment. From there it went downhill. The choice at the buffet was more reminiscent of one of those mass hotels that welcome tourists by the busload - in a different price category obviously. We would have let all this go and just tried to enjoy our time, but there was this battered shrimp tail which they had not fully defrosted. When we pointed this out, we were told this was normal and that it was meant to be served cold. Not even sure if this is safe from a hygiene perspective. At this point we felt that this establishment was taking the Micky and really does not care about their guests having a nice experience. They told us that we are free to leave. Which we did. This place is a tourist trap. Do not fall for it. There are many great places for brunch in Leipzig as we have discovered since. This is not one of them.

I went to brunch at the panoramic tower in leipzig a few weeks ago and I would not return for brunch. It reminded me of a hotel breakfast and there were long lines waiting for food what was all just in trays. Because if the price I expected it to be something above a continental breakfast. The view is nice and the staff was ok but I think they were undermanned. Drinks were not included in the price of the brunch so I really would not return. Maybe their dinner and other lunches are better but do not go to the brunch.
I will not return.

It was a very nice restaurant with a view of the whole of Leipzig.
I recommend you to reserve here for brunch.

Food is excellent but really overpriced. Usually you would expect higher prices on places like this, but 4 people lunch with desert 190€. I would recommend it for a very special occasion. The staff is really helpful and the food is really good.

Don't go here with business groups. This location promises nothing but air and charges way too much. You will not receive the experience they promise. We had a truly bad experience and we will NEVER go there again - neither privat nor with business groups. The only nice thing is the view, the rest is a simply a huge disappointing experience.

I have been here two times. I visit the tower with 4 euro. there is a cafe, I drank a cup of ginger. You should to visit here sunset in sunny day. and I visited the restaurant in afternoon. price is reasonable. staff is trained well. they are very kind and fast. walk on the street, watch from high position. it is the life in the city.
