Mädler-Passage

After a short coffee break, we again ventured through the city centre until we ended up at the ‘Mädler Passage’, a truly stunning arcade. It was built between 1912 and 1914 and was originally a place for sellers of porcelain, ceramics and earthenware. Today, this 140 metre long passage is full of exclusive shops and a great spot for your sightseeing list.

It's a nice sightseeing spot.

Beautiful work of architectural art. The stores themselves... Normal strip mall. But the place looks magnificent and houses one of the world's oldest restaurants. The prices are a bit higher than the value, but I suppose.its a good exchange for the gimmick and the antiquity of the place.

Very large and very beautiful passage. There are a large number of different shops and several restaurants with cafeterias. But the most important thing in this passage is its appearance. I would describe it as a beautiful labyrinth of stone and glass in the old style and immersed in the muffled light of sunlight. This place felt like a very small and cozy castle, so the shops themselves were not interesting to me, I just drowned a little in contemplation of the place itself.

It's a fun place to get some beautiful pics (pretty much all of Leipzig is).
Walk around the city, shop here and enjoy your time!

Even if you're not planning to buy anything it is worth the visit. Very nice ambiance. Walk in when you see it. It is worth your time.

Passage with nice shops. I'd recommend to stroll the pop-up shops, which tend to stay longer than the normal pop-up concept.
