Stopped in for coffee and pastry and were seated right away. The atmosphere was very nice in the outdoor table area.
I had a pastry and coffee. Both were tasty. Service was great!

Very good ambiance, kind and friendly service but not heavy... i really appreciated this place. And the food was simply awesome ! I heaviltly recommand the bread soup, and the sweat potato soup and we simply loved the smoked salmon. A bit pricy for Leipzig but I would definitely go again !!

Skip the expensive hotel breakfast and enjoy a freaking delicious, and more value added, breakfast at this wonderful location.

Delicious traditional Leipzig dessert, great cappuccino, lovely setting in an old Passage in central Leipzig. Good place to have a break and people watch.

I ate a late lunch here before running in the Leipzer Nachtlauf 10K. Nothing was appropriate as prerace food -- basically everything was greasy, covered in cheese, smothered in cream sauce, etc. The Michelin guide says that you can order a "light meal" here, but I don't think that is the case. The food itself tasted fine. As far as the decor goes, Mädlerpassage is just not impressive. We sat "outside" in the arcade, but there really wasn't anything nice to look at. You may as well be eating in a food court at an average American shopping mall.

Great café bar for over 35. A great selection of alcohol and hot beverage. Good food! Great service
