Leipzig International School

Trying to reach out for over a year. I have been patient FOR ONE FULL YEAR. I fill in the digital form (which is super long and complicated), wait for few weeks, nothing. So I called the School and the Kindergarten,. The international school transfer my call to someone responsible, guess what, she didn’t pick up, I been on hold for 15mins, she is not there. So I call the kindergarten, the reception claimed that she is new, she are super friendly. Then she promise she will help me ask around and get back to me on the my phone. Non, no phone call no email.

Yet they still have time to reply review on Google Map and post photo on social media.

Yes, I do think they think they can do whatever they want because the are the only international school in Leipzig.

You want to get expensive tuition fees from the parents but you can’t even get back to us?

That’s too bad.

This school is really nothing special. They think they are all high and mighty with their "citizen of the world" bs. Its just an average school with teachers that care more about academic achievement than the wellbeing of students. I wish I could say the management was trying their hardest to fix anything but the secondary school is just a bunch of illiterate adults running around portraying themselves as extremely intelligent while they can't even make a decent looking PowerPoint.

Don't send your kid to this school if you value creative thinking.

My daughter Alina Salim LOVE this school – from the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum. LIS integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons.The administration is open minded and think outside the box to make LIS a successful educational experience for the students. LIS is committed to the whole child. They teach value lessons, communication and leadership skills. In short LIS Education has been a very positive experience for our family.

I am certainly biased as I work here but I send my children to this school and kindergarten. The education they receive here is top tier and the community is incredibly warm and welcoming. I am constantly grateful to be a part of this team and to have my children educated by such professionals.

Thank you LIS ! We are so pleased with how our daughter has progressed .Alina is very happy learning in this great International institute.Very good teachers and management. Alina has learnt a lot of great things in LIS. We had a lot of experience in various schooling system around the globe, However LIS is really one of the BEST indeed .

I know 2 educators and someone who sends their kids there, from what I hear, they are unhappy, especially with a number of educators there. It seems suggestions from parents are not taken seriously at all. A lot of favouritism goes on in this school...Communication is close to none. Kids sit around and positive and super fun interaction between kids and educators is a wishful thought. If your child doesn't fit their agenda, the child is labeled psychologically underdeveloped or sick.

My child attended this school for a year and has never encountered such a regressive education system from "an international" school. The school is plagued with troubled individuals and the teachers are narrow-minded and do not encourage personal growth. Would recommend anyone moving to Leipzig to look elsewhere.
