Absolutely gorgeous cafe filled with beautiful rescue cats. Food is all Vegan, wide range of options, lovely servers, however the food did come out separately over an odd time period. Overall, if you’re visiting Leipzig and happen to be a cat fanatic, this place is a must-go!

Very nice place with lovely cats. It is clean and cozy. Cats look so happy. We enjoy their accompanying while drinking our coffees. We recommend!

I have been to cat cafes all over the world, and usually they are lacking on the actual food/drink selection. Not Katzentempel! This one had the best menu! I had a special seasonal pumpkin goulash and it was absolutely delicious. ALL of the food looked great though (and all vegan!), and there are tons of drink options too. The cats were not particularly interested in socializing, but what can you do? They are cats. ???? It was still fun to be with them.

Matched only by its furry little residents, the Katzentempel is a tidy and delightfully cozy little place. One can grab a bite to eat and relax while the cats do a world class job at pretending you don't exist.. until you have a treat for them. Would wholeheartedly recommend ????

Overall this is a great cafe / restaurant. The atmosphere is very chill and it is nice to have the friendly cats around. The food is tasty and it is easy to enjoy a few hours there. I would definitely recommend making a reservation though, as it was very busy.
Also, if you’re the type to be upset by children not knowing how to act around cats, it can be challenging if you go at a time when people bring their kids.

Super pretty café and lots of beautiful and friendly cats ♥️ the food was good, all vegan and they also had tasty drinks, like a mint ginger lemonade. Thanks for the wonderful time and all the best to your kitties ♥️
