This is a very cozy and very popular restaurant. With outdoor and indoor tables. Be sure to book a table in advance (it means sometimes months!). The best knuckles here are edible, but you should also ask in advance because they don’t always make it. But it's worth because it's made perfectly. You'll find great beers by the side.

Wonderful beer garden, great friendly service, well respected covid rules and swift service. The had an asparagus special and the vegetarian option was so good. Generous portion and served quickly. The beer garden is spacious and allows for a relaxed stay. There's a small parking lot next to it and plenty of bicycle racks.

my first German restaurant in Leipzig, was a great experience ???? the waiters were super friendly and helpful ???? the restaurant has a beer garden, outside eating or drinking area ???? personally I loved the decorations of the restaurant a lot! the main point, the beer were really tasty and smooth ???? also the rib was super delicious, very well cooked ???????????????? highly recommended for big group or even just to have beer or dinner!

Visited it on August 2016 with my friends. This beer hall used to be a train station whose history starts from 1842. It takes 15 minutes from the center of the city by foot.Home-made beer, called Gose beer, contains lactic acid and coriander,so that its taste is sour. Good combination with sausage. Price is also very affordable. When you visit Leipzig,this restaurant is one of the must-visit places.

Amazing food, homemade beer and historical ambience. The restaurant offers many traditional dishes from Germany and specialties from Bavaria. The service has usual German charm which focuses on execution ;)

Great experience! Excellent facilities, 'hidden' behind the Gate Monument - quite large and comfortable, both indoors and outdoors. The terrace is really charming. The staff is quite nice and the prices quite alright (considering the overall experience). The food options are diverse and the beverage options include local beer. I recommend the 'Goulash' and the local Weissbier.

Very friendly and fast service, in the garden you pick up your drinks at the station but get the food freshly prepared and delivered to to your table - the cheese plate was super, loved the local Gose beer!
