Man muß diesen Platz mehr aus der Geschichte des Matrosenaufstands von 1918 betrachten! Als Erinnerung an die Toten des Aufstandes!! Wie in allen großen Städten, die zum Verweilen freie Plätze und Bänke zur Verfügung stellen, werden diese sicherlich schneller von Mitmenschen erobert, die uns nicht gefallen und das Schöne auch nicht achten! Also verwahrlost so ein Platz oder Gelände sehr schnell, wenn die Stadt- Oberen nicht aufpassen!! Zu meiner Kieler Zeit sah es dort nach nichts aus, darum finde ich, dass der Platz mit den Blumenkübeln und dem Blick auf die Hörn und die Schiffe und das große Hotel doch etwas Positives hat!
