The cakes look great. Sadly, I was only in the market for a café au lait, which wasn't good. I don't think the milk was actually bad, but it still tasted a bit sour. There was almost no coffee taste. In addition, the personnel refused the following five euro note. Admittedly not in great shape, but I still think was unnecessarily nit-picking.

Secret Tip if you're at the train station and need to kill some time. Much more charming and relaxed with a much better choice of food, drinks and desserts than the competition on the ground floor of the train station.
The staircase is a bit hidden off to the side of the ground floor but worth the search!

It’s an old fashioned place. So are the people who go there. But the cafe and cake is great.
