A really good local restaurant serving delicious Portuguese food and wine, perfect for small or large groups to enjoy a casual evening in a cozy spot.
I always walk by this place and see it packed, now I know why. It’s a really good dinning experience! I highly recommend making reservations online or by telephone at least 2 days in advance, especially for weekend bookings.
The restaurant offers indoor or outdoor seating depending on the weather.
The staff is very helpful and friendly, but thanks to Lya for the great service that evening and for doing her best to keep up with my terrible German language “skills” haha.
The menu offers a wide array of options ranging from seafood, meats and salads, to vegetarian dishes like a red beet carpaccio. You also get a very braid drinks menu with various wine options, as well as some very interesting insights into Portuguese wine and wine making.
Highly recommend their grilled shrimp, and steak. Also the octopus if you’re into that, as they clearly have a lot of practicing preparing it here in a way that it has perfect texture without losing any flavor.
Daily specials available, and change often so be sure to ask.
You can easily get here by walking from Europaplatz or Karlstor tram stations, but car parking in this street or around it can be very tricky.
You can pay with cash or card. Be sure to tip your server :)
Dog friendly restaurant, allowing even indoor accommodation of fury friends.
