Quite possibly one of the top 3 best dinning experiences I’ve had in Germany so far.
Exquisite flavors served in a beautifully decorated room with a fully covered garden wall in an open kitchen room concept.
The service is very knowledge, helpful and attentive. Our server was from Romania and spoke perfect English and understood my terrible German haha. Very nice guy knew exactly which wine we would enjoy with our meal and worked well with his team to ensure all tables were properly tended and that all pending plates were punctually delivered before they got cold.
There is a bar section I’d like to check out next time, as it looks very chill and good for quick stops with a friend or two. Although hard to come here and not get a taste of their wonderful menu options.
With a wide selection of tasty dishes, I highly recommend their steak and salads. The tartar was pretty good, if you don’t mind mixing it yourself at the table with the ingredients provided. The steak was on point and served well. The Caesar salad is probably the best one if I’ve had in Germany so far. You can order it as an accessory or an appetizer but I think the accessory portion is sufficient bud enjoyable enough with the main dish.
The desserts are also tasty, but I wasn’t a fan of the cheesecake, as it was too citrusy to be the traditional American style they offer. I might be alone on this though, as they ran out of cheesecake early on in the night so we could only order one, which wasn’t a bad thing in the end :) The creme brule was way better!
You can pay cash or card, and reservations can easily be made by phone or online to avoid waits. Check it at the door where you can also drop off your coat.
Great restaurant indeed. I will absolutely be coming back for more.
