More than 800 art pieces, well curated and great collection. Every explanations were in German and French. It could’ve been nice to see English translation.

The art gallery has permanent exhibitions on classical (renaissance-ish?/ gothic period) and modern arts. It is a teeny bit smaller in size compared to major galleries in europe (e.g. the louvre) or australia (go Melbourne! victorian art gallery), but still has an amazing, tasteful and beautiful collection. Totally worth a visit if you happen to be in karlsruhe. In fact, i reckon its size serves in its favour. You can spend quiet time admiring and really immersing yourself in each piece!

I love this museum. They have the biggest collection of #FrenchPaintings outside the#Louvre!
Their hashtag is #traeumdoch ????and they have workshops for children and adults with #handsonactivities super interesting.
As for the #ReligiousHeritageArt just have a look at he stunning crucifixion, powerful painting by #MatthiasGrünewald...
thank you Florian Trott, comunicación manager for his discovery!!!

Beautiful grounds and artwork collections. Being American, I did not know or had not studied many of the artists here...German, Dutch, Spanish. Very lovely experience.

I can't say the best but in its own way it has nice collection. Especially modern art part of the museum.

I went there for a exhibit about the French impressionist Cézanne. A very good exhibition with outstanding paintings and a good educational framework.
The collection of the museum is also good. As often in these smaller museums one can wonder around in the standing collection without being disturbed by too many other visitors and find some great art. In the case a top painting a self portrait of Rembrandt which I kept company for 20 minutes alone. A great joy.
