- Tasty food, I went specifically for Mango with sticky rice as it is not available at most Thai restaurants. Mango was not as sweet as we get in Thailand, but that cannot be helped????
- Great ambience and friendly service
- English Menu for non German speakers
- Vegetarian options are available

The best thai restaurant in Karlsuhe! They have the best Pad Thai. If you can handle spicy food, I would recommend beef Pad Thai with 1 or 2 chillies. But if you can’t handle it spicy, you can order without chili at all and it still TASTE AMAZING☺️
The owner is also very friendly and humble.
You should order mango sticky rice as dessert, they have the best mango. This restaurant is always on my list whenever I visit Karlsruhe.

Best thai restaurant in Karlsruhe. Owner is very friendly. Value for money is 5/5. Padthai is too good.

The staff is patient although sometimes too casual with the service (that’s the one star). I love Thai food but this one really disappointed me. With the price and previous reviews I was expecting something at least average, but the curry we ordered taste nothing like it but just coconut milk and tons of sugar… everything is super sweet including the ice tea!!! The restaurant try’s to make the food look nice with the tableware but it only makes me more frustrated with the food. I’m sorry but it is a solid no-go for me.

Went there last night with somewhat high-ish expectations after reading other reviews. However I should've paid attention to the very last review from a couple of months ago. The guy at the reception was extremely rude and unpleasant, the whole evening was ruined for me.
I originally wanted to dine at the restaurant but the only table they had left was too close to the bathroom so I decided to order to go. After waiting for 15 minutes, I handed him my card to pay and that's when he raised his voice and almost yelled at me in a very snarky tone whether I had a German issued card or not. I was ready to go and find an ATM but he was so rude, I had to tell him not to yell which he of course blamed me for. While I was walking to the nearest ATM which was about 7 minute walk, I wondered how he could be so unpleasant to me while he was all smiles and friendly to all other diners. Just to be fair, other ladies at the reception were nice enough to calm down the situation but then nobody was apologetic either. At least I wish the food was decent enough after all that unpleasant drama, but the minced chicken dish I ordered was extremely salty with bitter after taste.

My husband and I are half of the time in Bangkok, and the other half in Karlsruhe. This restaurant has been by far the most authentic tasting with a beautiful atmosphere that makes it look like a Thai home and very friendly staff. Consistently making great food for value with more options on their menu than any other thai restaurant in karlsruhe! We ordered Tom Yum shrimp, Som Tum, Khana Muu Krob (they have crispy pork!), Duck noodles and the crowning glory of their perfectly cooked fish (Miang Pla) that came with an abundance of side dishes and sauce (peanut sauce and seafood sauce were both fresh prepared and fantastic). The food was delicious for the price and we could not be happier. Thai food is all about the balance and freshness and you can really get this here! Many Thai restaurants in Karlsruhe you can taste it's not fresh and very salty with no balance, that's why Sabaidi is such a great surprise.
