We order the Hummus, the schawarma teller and the schawarma. The hunmus was the best one I have tried. Everything was well prepared and the owner was so friendly with very nice service. The restaurant is spacious and clean with light music. Definitely recommend to go again.

We tried different dishes, all were very delicious. Authentic Syrian/Arabic food with a great and friendly service. The ambient is also very pleasant and cozy.

We have also ordered food for an event. Every thing went very well and professionally.
The owner is also generous.

Best Falafal in Karlsruhe! I have rarely eaten better Falafel anywhere, in fact! The owner is very friendly and calm, he has a gentle personality. Make sure you have some time to spare when you come to Al-Madina, since you might end up chatting while waiting for your food - which can take a while. This is not a pre-prepared and just warmed up kind of place. A Falafel Yufka might take up to 15 or 20 minutes but you can taste the difference! Make sure to get the mint leaves in your Yufka, they add another layer of flavor!
Apart from Yufka Falafel I have tried some other dishes, they were all good. (Shawarma!).
One more thing: notice how the owner washes his hands after getting in contact with coins and bills. Gives you a nice and clean feeling while eating your delicious meal!
