nice place to spend time when the weather allow, only pity that the cafe directly infro. of the monument has U bahn entrance infront of it that disturb the view

As I was strolling down the Main Street reaching the Markplatz square, I was blessed by the visual explosion of the great pyramid of Karlsruhe. Must see if you are in town!

A very interesting and unique historical site. It is easy to get to and completely free so that's handy. Alas when I went to visit it was surrounded by scaffolding for some kind of construction that was currently ongoing. However the market area around it is absolutely beautiful and was full of flower vendors - it was quite a sight to see!
