We had a really nice visit there recently. The people were nice and helpful and the exhibitions are inspiring.

Who knew banboo was so versatile and interesting.
There was also an exhibition about clothing in various cultures. Now usually i'm not much interested in clothing but it was interesting to see the various styles and the ingenuity with which people all over the world create clothing even with limited or difficult materials.

Recommended. Will visit again

A cute, small museum with an interesting collection. At times they also have interesting exhibitions and various talks. Good if you don't have too much time as the museum is rather small.

Not one of Heidelbergs highlights, but the history of the collection and the building provides a window into Heidelbergs past. Particularly interesting is the connection that the collection has with the NSDAP, and this is presented transparently and well.

Interesting exhibition when we were there. A bit small, and not very tourist friendly (german only).
