Nice appartement close to the old city center but without the usual noise. View on the Neckar river, nice terrace with a small view on the castle. Nice bathroom, small bedroom but good mattresses. We missed comfortable chairs in the living room and the terrace as well as some sort of sunscreen on the terrace. Nice schnitzel restaurant and cocktail bar downstairs!

location, location, location! If you are looking for clean, functional and comfortable space in the center of Heidelberg Altstadt, then book this home. Johannes is a helpful and efficient host. The price is right. You can walk to all the sites, including the castle and the path along the river. Johannes directed us to free and safe parking and welcomed us to his home with complimentary champagne. Nathan Lewis

What a location! WOW! We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Heidelberg. The apartment itself is very comfortable, with a view of the river out the front windows and the beautiful glass wall kitchen with deck in the back. Located in a historic old building, the apartment itself is completely updated. We especially appreciated the washer and drying rack. Johannes offered information on free parking not too far away, but we chose the nearby pay parking lot which was so convenient and we felt the cost was fair. We cooked our dinner one night in the kitchen, and it was well equipped and convenient to use. But once we discovered the wonderful selection of restaurants available steps away, many at very reasonable prices, we found ourselves eating out... Or bringing take-out back home to eat on the deck. We had a fabulous time in Heidelberg. We stayed four nights and could easily have stayed longer. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to this beautiful city we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. We highly recommend Johannes' studio.

The place was very spacious with living room, bedroom, nice bathroom with washer, full equipped kitchen and loved the outdoor patio! The apartment is in the perfect location in the old town just walking distance to the bridge, castle and train station. Great view of the river. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay there and would stay again! Highly recommend!

Fully equiped apartment on the Neckar River and moments from the heart of old town. Nice place to come back to at the end of the day. Water was super hot and bathroom spacious. Apartment fees included good wifi connection and all the cleaning products were provided which was a bonus. Bed was super comfy and place was lovely and warm. The building is quiet so no problem sleeping. Lots of great info in the folders left by owner and tourist info office is 1 minute from the front door.

There is no lift and the apartment is on the second floor so not suitable for anyone who has problem with stairs. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars and I would stay here again.

Spacious, very clean, perfect for families with a very large bed in the bedroom and a full size couchbed in the living room, dishwasher, washing machine, bathroom separate from shower each with a sink, right in the heart of old town and a nice view of the river. Highly recommend!

An excellent location in the old town, steps away from the castle, bridge and Heiliggeistkirche. A view of the river as well. Only 600m from the Altstadt train station. Roomy apartment with all amenities. Would stay here again. Thanks Johannes.
