Great place for a Saturday or Friday night dinner in Heidelberg Germany to experience the Flavors of India first hand. Great service and excellent food with some unbelievable flavors and textures.

Blessed enjoying Christmas Eve dinner in 2019, the Taj Mahal serves the world's best Indian u0026 Pakistani cuisine in the world!

I highly recommend their Samosas u0026 Pakoras, Murgh Chicken Tikka, Onion Bhaji, Beef Tikka and Tarka Daal.

The beef is juicy prime filet mignon and the chicken breast is super tender and flavorful.

Their portions are abundant and never greasy ~ even perfect for a Maharaja that in 14 month lockdown Germany, has to eat in my car.

Celebrating my 4th Christmas Eve at Taj Mahal, their generous portions have remained the same and most importantly ~ their world class gourmet taste profiles and consistency have been identical for 4 consecutive years!

Their tandoori chicken tikka and filet mignon tikka are super tender and succulent, as well as they feature the very best tarka daal and samosas on the planet.

The flambeed koyho and homemade mango sauce poured over vanilla ice cream desserts were the perfect Grand Finale.

Featuring a wonderfully eclectic wine list including my favorites ~ South African Shiraz, Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon and Spanish Rioja, they excel in providing very generous pours by the glass.

Upscale Indian restaurant. Mixed grill was very good but not spicy enough for me. The staff fixed that quickly. My wife's vegetable dish was also good. Service was good, even intertaining. Funny guy!

Nice decor, reasonable service, really enjoyed the food. A bit on the pricey side. Got charged €8 for a Keema Nan for some reason. The other nans were 3.50. Odd but didn't look at receipt till next day (and had a laugh about it). I would go back and recommend (but maybe go for peshwari nan instead).

What went wrong?. I visited this place just before the Corona lock down. Last night makes it the 3rd visit. But really disappointed ????. Poor service,meals took ages to arrive, no recommendations from the Chef/ waiter..all the little things I missed during my last visit. However, we were glad to patronise. Helping out the survival modul. 3couse meals available. Main meal from Eur 27. Drinks/ salad/ Tea from Eur5. Expensive meals. But still good for a night out.

Enjoyed the meal great flavor. Those complaining of cost are possibly used to a lower class location. The service was average and the atmosphere was nice. We enjoyed mixed Tandoori Grill and Vegetable Kurma

Extremely bad experience ,service was too bad but the food is very bad and tasteless..
Specially if you are Desi never recommended anyone…it’s place for Germans bcz they don’t know about our food..
