The rating is based on my past experience in breakfast. It includes the food, price and service.
As many people here already highlight, it’s a pricy place in return for what you get in terms of food quality and portions.
Unfortunately the eggs were swimming in oil, the English breakfast was devoured in a few seconds and we had to leave and get more food elsewhere. Having complained about the oil on my plate (I ended up eating like one egg white tops) they only said ‘oh sorry’ but how can you let that out of the kitchen in the first place I wondered.
The place is so charming and has a wonderful sidewalk seating, some staff was helpful and some wasn’t
I’m hoping this was some covid effect on the quality of both service and food so I’ll review my rating later on to see what’s happened.
Delicious bread and fresh orange juice with a pasta straw! And really nice location one block away from river!

Family-run café with a chill ambience, great coffee options and beer off the tap, super-friendly staff and yummy cakes! Posed for a picture with the 'family'.. ????

Nice busy spot to watch people. Well priced drinks and friendly staff who didn't make me feel bad about my poor attempts to speak German

A bit expensive but totally delicious

Meat, potatos and mushrooms were totally perfect. Our waitress spoke English and helped us with all the questions (I couldn't eat sugar, so they removed all of it where I asked). Also she asked about our preferences.

And girls here are beautiful :)

Had a nice breakfast here. Went for the scrambled eggs with bacon. Paid the extra to have it on a croissant... was ok with the cost. Coffee (espresso) was strong which I like. No complaints. The staff were friendly so that’s all you need. Got to sit in the sun out front and enjoy watching the world go by. Would go again.
They also except credit cards which is helpful.

The appeal of this place is mostly its decor and atmosphere. It's very hip and elegant which is why I loved our brunch there. The place is very Instagrammable. The food, however, was quite average. It's the same type of breakfast selection you'd normally find at an upscale hotel. Although I do have to say their homemade bread is delicious!
