I can't really understand the mostly positive recommendations. If you look for a Greek restaurant, go somewhere else. The food was avarage, the meat under-average, wine bad. We heard microwave regularly... Only thanks to the staff I give 2 stars.

I've been to Löwenkeller half a dozen times now, and always enjoy the food and the atmosphere. They offer a nice mix of dishes with cuisine from Turkey and Germany (I have a terrible/awesome habit of eating the Turkish Appetizer plate when I'm in the mood for something light and delicious), and there's always good music playing. And the location is perfect for me, so it's a great go-to place in Heidelberg's Weststadt.

Always a good stop for the lunch with reasonable prices and daily changing menu. Every first Friday live jazz at evening.

Good variety of food, very friendly staff and extremely reasonable prices. Interesting art exhibitions on the walls too!

Nice cosy place with excellent food and drinks. Checkout the terrace in the Summer !

My personally best restaurant in Heidelberg. Absolutely worth a visit on purpose.
