I reserved a table for two here as a belated graduation celebration. I arrived with fairly high expectations based on what I read and saw online. The atmosphere and customer service is fantastic with the service very much "on point" with refilling glasses and timing their questions etc. The actual food was good and the drinks even better in my opinion. I ordered the "taste your meat" plate which is a great concept but I found that the meat went cold too quick and both sauces were too "intense" i.e. not really complementing the meat but rather taking over it's flavour. It is definitely on the pricey end but the atmosphere and drinks somehow made up for it.

The aged steak was delicious, and the drinks were well made and brought quickly after ordering. The overall service was great.

Kind of an overrated restaurant. Prices are too high for what you get. We had steak and they did not ask how we wanted our meat. The truffle fries were really bad. The same thin fries you can buy in the supermarket, some burnt, definitely not what you expect for 10 euro fries... The dishes are tasty, but you can eat them somewhere else too without paying triple the amount. Drinks were very good and refreshing.

Spectacular food. We had perhaps the best meal we have ever had - the three steak taster with parmesan fries and truffle mayo. It was definitely expensive but so special, the staff were so friendly. If we visit Heidelberg again we will come back here.

Incredibly overpriced and bad service. 60 euros for a 180gram beef. I had eaten a lot during lunch and asked my leftovers to be packed to avoid waste... The waiter came back and said "I don't know how to explain this in English..." And proceeded to speak in quick German that basically they trashed my beef. That is it. Do you think this is acceptable? Never again. If you are very rich and don't mind about burning some money without noticeable benefit over restaurants that cost 1/3 it might be acceptable at best.

We were looking for a nice culinary experience and wanted to try Neo for the first time, we were very nicely welcomed as we arrived, we decided to try the Signature.

We informed the waitress that we have around one hour then we will need to drive, she told us that it should be manageable.
The drinks came rapidly, also the first course of this menu, till here everything was nice.

Then the long waiting time for the second course started and we had to wait almost an hour to receive the 3rd course. The waiting time was so long and unpleasant , we had to remind the waitress several times, it was stressful.

The beef filet for this course arrived dry, it did not meet any of our culinary expectations, the texture of the meat was not nice, it did not match the beef filet high quality expected for such a price.

The marriage and the matching between different flavours and textures was not present. Actually it was not present neither for the lobster rolls, the taste of frying was very present and it did hide all other interesting flavours and this was a pity for such an interesting preparation.

I would have expected a way better experience for this price. We were testing the location for a bigger group event, but it has awfully failed the test.

Absolutely fantastic! Drinks and food are really top notch ranging from Sushi, Steak to desert. Staff is quick and very attentive.
