Worst bakery we visited in Heidelberg by far. The ambience is nice and the place is clean and that's about all the good it can say about it.
The cashier was nice, but also annoyed at times. The bread was extremely stale and basically forced you to buy a drink with it to be somewhat edible.
They seem to be a local chain bakery but I would probably not visit again if I can avoid it.

Good choice of bread, Brötchen and more for breakfast or snack.

Nice place for a meetup.

Compared to all the other Riegler this one has a 5-star service. Never met a group of bakery staff in Heidelberg so friendly. Food is great - awesome bread, wide selection. They also offer light lunches like salad and soup, as well as breakfast with eggs and ham. Great location, comfortable and tasteful indoor design. Good also for a sit-in light meal/coffee.
