I agree with the others.
beer: good
food: meh
I ordered the jagerschnitzel with spetzel (bad spelling, sorry) mushrooms were canned and mushy, gravy was very greasy and spetzel nothing special and tasted funky.
Conclusion: go for drinks and eat elsewhere, too late for me but SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR WALLET! ????

I've lived in Heidelberg for 4 years, and just tried Kupferkanne. It's amazing. Tried three things and they the best in town.

Sehr leckeres Essen direkt an der Hauptstraße in Heidelberg.
