We ate here on a Friday night and the atmosphere was excellent. The quality of the food was excellent. The pig knuckle was the best I've ever eaten and my Spatzel was fantastic as well though a bit pricey. The beer was refreshing and paired with the food perfectly. I would absolutely return.

More than 2000 reviews, this shows how popular this place is. It also tells how busy this place can get. Things can go wrong when it gets super busy in a restaurant, that’s what I experienced here.
The waiter is extremely rude, I was there with a group of friends, and one came with his dog. One waiter asked my friend to “move” his dog, as if it’s a lifeless object, and he added not everyone loves dog, which is extremely rude. I wonder whether he dares to say the same thing to white customers.
It was also super unpleasant when we asked for the bill. There was another waitress I asked her four times and she never brought bill. All other white customers around us received better service.
Finally, the food. The ones you get in a supermarket is better than this. Totally disgusting.

Food was nice, but having kids jumping and running the whole time right in front our table was not really what we were looking for during dinner, as well that the smoking area of the restaurant was next to our table. As mentioned before the food was nice but got a not enjoyable smoking flavor automatically to it.

Wow, what an incredible building to have a drink in. We had a vegan drinker in the group and the staff went the extra mile to check if the drinks were vegan!

But, the food was incredibly overpriced and just awful. I’ve never had a bad schnitzel in Germany until I visited here.

It was rather a tasting than a brewery tour and i would have love to actually learn how they brew the beer. I think it would have been even better if there would have been more storytelling going. But the tasting was good - and so was the food afterwards. The service in the restaurant was a little arrogant - but that did not disturb the overall mood.

Good atmosphere and luvly service. Great German dishes served here. It might not be familiar taste to Asians but I think you should try them out. Pork knuckle is a must.

Great ambience. We did not get to try the roasts as they ran out. Beer was good and service was too. They had English menus, which we had to ask for.
