Good shop. A lot of options. The small animals are in ok condition. The workers won't wake up hamster unless you really interested and come in last hour before closing.

I've been a customer for years but today was the last day my foot steps in Kölle Zoo Heidelberg!
Terrible customer service in the Aquarium department!
My partner and I wanted to get some new plants for our aquarium.
We looked arround to get an idea of what we would like to get and last step was to get help with the plants that are in aquariums since only staff can get them out.
There were two workers there at that time.
We were not only left to wait for over 30 minutes but also were being ignored by the staff. They would just walk past us even when we tried to approach and ask for help. Not the first time we get a bad customer service from the older guy. Loud talking, always appears annoyed that he has to help customers out and generally the way he talks is just very rude. I understand that we cannot expect to get customer service on the minute and as you have read we were pretty patient and waited for quite long but if you are aware that you have customers who have been waiting for 40-50 minutes and you still decide to offer help to a customer who has just entered the store is just ridiculous and that's when we just lost it and left. Not the first time this happens, but it will be the last. If your store doesn't want my money, one of your competitors would definetely do.
