Easy to find near by the train station.
Our room was on the first floor a room for 3 persons. The room was big and clean and a good toilet (in our case the holder for the head of the shower was broken but works) and I need to say it.. the bets was the best so so confortable.
Parking you need to pay 7eur and if you want to go to the center you can go by tram ????or bus. If you don't have the tiquet better with bus because in the another way you can not buy the tiquet on the tram. (They pass the all day)

- No elevator, so a bit difficult to get the baggage up.
+ Relatively cheap snack and hot beverages machines, and free-to-use fridge in common room.
+ Cheap.
+ Lots of electrical outlets to charge phones etc. We found 7.
+ Free wind fan already in the room for utilization.
+/- Parking was only 5 euros per day but not inside a secured structure.
+ Nice to have our own bathroom and shower. Big room and with a hair dryer.
- We had to cross the public corridor to get there since it wasn't inside our room.
- Only had one key to four people.
- No safe box.

We stayed at a private double-bed ensuite room and it was much better that we could have expected. Perfectly clean, spacious and with a bathroom much better than in many hotels we have stayed at. It is located 3km from the old town, but there is a frequent tram connection with the city.

Clean room, comfortable beds, reasonable price. WiFi was spotty in our room and you need to walk 5-10 minutes to catch a 15-minute bus ride to Altstadt. Overall, a good place if you don't mind some planning to make the most of it.

Very nice staff and good installations. Not so good location, far from the downtown of Heidelberg. There is a tram working ever 10' during working ours, but in the evening waiting times are way longer. Overall very good value to price.

This hostel is a very good place to spend the night, but not much else.

Pros:
Everything is new u0026 works, including the Wi-Fi u0026 flatscreen TV.

Bathroom was spacious, modern u0026 so clean.

The front desk is operated by a man who really cares about pleasing his guests. Both he u0026 his wife took great pains to make dinner reservations for me u0026 my group of American exchange students, because the place we wanted to book has no email contact u0026 calling internationally over their landline would have been difficult. He also bright a fridge up for my colleague, who had just had knee surgery, u0026 needed to keep ice packs cold. I can't say enough nice things about these people.

The room was so spacious u0026 clean.

Vending machines in the lobby provide snacks u0026 drinks in a pinch.

Cons
Location; it's just too far to walk to the old city, which is where everything of interest is, and public transit is doable, but really not all that convenient from the hostel into town. Looking out the windows, you see almost exactly what you'd see in any small industrialized city, not what you are interested in as a tourist.

Breakfast is not available, and I did not see any kitchen facility there to prepare your own. There is a cafe u0026 supermarket nearby, so it's not as bad as it could be.

Overall, I highly recommend this place for its value u0026 service, as long as you don't mind the location. You'll be spending your day in thw old city anyway, and only returning here to sleep.

Neat and clean, but in a horrible part of town some distance from the CBD. I took one look at the place, tried to unbook (but didn't get my money back), called a cab and went somewhere else. This is a backpackers joint and really designed for young people with a car. It is very inappropriate for a middle aged solo traveller. Such information would've really helped me and I wouldn't have booked them in the first place.
