The staff was amazing!! They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and fun! The beds and bedding were perfect too. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing hotel right at rhe hearth heidelberg, beautiful building, not a 5* Hotel since it is a bit outdated but this gives it a special charm, perfect for a few nights and very helpful and kind personal at the reception, restaurant, cleaning, basically everyone, perhaps not a 5* Hotel but 5* service. Hotel is surrounded by good restaurants and very close To the castle, I could def recommend it, it was a different / special stay.

They could renew the rooms a little bit, perhaps the carpet and the couch.. furniture is old but that matches with the setting (no need to modernise it in my opinion) but minor changes that could make it feel more updated

Very beautiful exterior and exquisite interior. There’s a restaurant there that supposedly serves really good food but staff didn’t speak English when I was there…

We just visited the restaurant, which had a lovely atmosphere and good service. However, sadly the spätzle was not authentic and was more like macaroni cheese!

Excellent location, and wonderfully historic exterior. Our room was small but comfortable, with excellent linens and bedding. The windows were small, and offered limited views, but on the backside of the hotel, things were mostly quiet. Location afforded great access to Christmas markets. Restaurant and bar we're nice, but expensive, especially given the options outside very nearby.

The best service I have ever had in all my Germany visits. This hotel and the staff are world class. I will definitely visit again when traveling through the area. I travel through Germany often and without any disrespect I have found the service in many hotels and restaurants abrupt and what can seem rude. This is not the case with this hotel. I can only praise the owners and the team for their exceptionally professional level of service, great food and clean rooms.
