Restaurant is conveniently located right at the square. Seating inside the restaurant is quite tight. It was very busy during lunch and we waited some time to be served. But once order is taken, the drinks and food came fast. Burger with lunch time addons are good values. We had the classic burger with salad, a cold drink and a coffee, all for less €17 per set. Everything tasted good.
Then we had to wait again to make payment. Very hard to catch waiting staff's attention. But I have to say that they all have wonderful dispositions although under tremendous pressure.
Toilet is located at the basement with many steps to make. Not convenient for those with mobility issues.

Loved the burger and sweet potato fries. The option of getting a menu is the best as you get fries, cold as well as hot drink....its the best deal! Waiting time during rush hours can be 10-15mins but you will get a place! Plus the staff was well trained and service was good. Loved the experience in Heidelberg!

Three of us went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We got right in. The host spoke English just like everyone else. The inside is really deformed well, with birch trees. They have a great lunch special where you get a burger, fries, a non alcoholic drink, and a hot drink at the end for $17.

Everything was delicious. I ordered a Geissbock which was delicious. I also ordered a Brombeer cocktail, equally delicious. Service was great, and the food was even better. I definitely recommend it.

Food was good. Really tasty. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Also meat. Staff was ok but that could be just because it was a really busy day when we were there. The sitting places weren't that nice. No backrest which isn't ideal after a long day of walking. Good location though. Good cocktails.

Taste hamburger. Interesting toppings. The service was good but slow.
The inside of the restaurant very nice without an air conditioning.

I went here for the first time after living in Heidelberg for several years, and it turns out to be a very nice burger place, and they have a full bar with beautiful cocktails! Usually in touristic areas the restaurants are not quite satisfying, but this one is pretty good. If you like burger you’ll like this place.

Phenomenal burgers! They have an extensive menu with several beef, chicken, vegetarian and vegan burger options. I’m not a vegetarian but was intrigued by the Hornträger burger walnut patty under their vegetarian selection and it was simply incredible, the best vegetarian burger I’ve ever had! The Vogelwild chicken burger was also delicious. The burger combos included drinks and we absolutely loved our servers’ recommendations of the Holunderblüte u0026 Sommerwind. The staff are very friendly and the service was fast. Highly recommend.
