Nice little cosy wine and food bar, super friendly and helpful staff. Great wine selection very nice. If you are looking to have some wine this is definitely one of the best places to stop by in Heidelberg old town. Very nice

Cosy place to take a glass of wine and to share some tapas for example !
Tapas are excellent ! And large choice of wine !
The young couple is very welcoming and give good advise for the choice of wine and plate

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside you’ll find a little slice of kopenhagen. fantastic food and a very nice choice of natural wine. hidden little gem in the backstreets of heidelbergs main shopping street. MUST VISIT on one of their 5 course dinners but call in advance and book a table. Good for both groups and couples.

We only made the "mistake" that we had already eaten in the Herrenmühle beforehand and were therefore already "well fed" with food and drink. :)

But we finally wanted to try out the Florinstube. There is a very good selection of wines and small, freshly prepared dishes. The host is very nice and competent in the wine advice. What makes the Florinstube special is the audience. It seems as if a mixture of university professors and retired foreign correspondents are handing each other over there. Really special!

Otherwise it really is a living room: cosy, cuddly, as if from a different and good time. Nice to linger and let your soul dangle for a few hours. Great!!

Ein absoluter Insidertip (noch)!

Wir haben nur den "Fehler" gemacht, dass wir vorher schon in der Herrenmühle gespeist haben und dadurch schon "gut gesättigt" an Speis und Trank waren. :)

Aber wir wollten die Florinstube endlich austesten. Es gibt eine sehr gute Weinauswahl und kleine, frisch zubereitete Speisen dazu. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und kompetent bei der Weinberatung. Was die Florinstube besonders macht, ist das Publikum. Es wirkt wie wenn sich eine Mischung aus Universitätsprofessoren und Auslandskorrespondenten im Ruhestand dort die Klinke in die Hand geben. Wirklich besonders!

Ansonsten ist es wirklich eine Stube: Gemütlich, kuschelig, wie aus einer anderen und guten Zeit. Schön zum Verweilen und die Seele ein paar Stunden baumeln zu lassen. Toll!!
