Sat outside for a few beers early afternoon. Only one guy working on his own and it was quite busy. Not his fault and he was doing his best but could have had some help I think. All this cleaning rubbish because of Corona...
Beers selection was good, had a Königs Pilsener which was ok. It’s a nice quieter spot just off the Main Street. They don’t take credit cards, cash only. Surprising for such a tourist city...

Great place to meet friends for a casual drink! I’ve only ever sat outside, but the service and ambiance has been wonderful. Be aware they only take cash.

A cozy place with good vibes!
Whether you’re taking a break or meeting friends it’s a great place for that.
I felt It’s more for locals which makes it even better.
The drinks are ok, but the place is cool especially its location, away from the crowded Hauptstraße.
Super friendly service and affordable prices.

The most beautiful place to sit outside and drink a beer or coffee in Heidelberg. I couldn't pay by card but it's ok.

Hörnchen is a wonderful bar at an atmospheric square. The bar has great personel who attend to your needs friendly. It has a variety of beers and in general a good vibe. It is not as busy as the bars at the Hauptstraße and feels more authentic with locals visiting as well. I enjoyed a few nights out here while visiting Heidelberg.
