Great place for steaks and rustic, hearty food. It's under new ownership since 2018, run by a couple who care about their customers and the food just as much as the founder, who sadly passed away. Also highly recommend the daily lunch specials. In addition, the restaurant was just (July 2019) completely remodeled with a cleaner, brighter design and modern ambience. Definitely worth a visit.

We had to wait almost two hours, so the eating part of the dinner lasted just ten minutes, we got really hungry by that time. The steak was good, for a fair price. But after all, we had to wait too much. If it hasn't been so, the rating would easily be a four or five star.

I had a delicious steak with pepper sauce and fries. Definitely recommend this place for a good steak. The Schnitzel my friends had was a little dry though and was only decent with the sauce.

I had a Rib eye steak yesterday. The steak itself was really tasty, the quality of beef was good and it was seasoned all the way. I ordered it rare with the fear that they might overcook it (as I read from previous reviews, I cant stand overcooked meat and dont wanna waste food). It was cooked perfectly rare and then I told them to cook it just a bit longer and it came out perfect medium rare. The meat was glistening, juicy, just perfect. Sauce was nice, the fries were ok, a bit grainy. The garnish on the steak plate (some kind of sour berry and carrot flakes with vinegarette) was unecessary, weird and oldfashioned. The corn was not fresh so I didnt eat it. Staff were very friendly, my greek red wine was nice and sweet (just the way I like it). I'd come back again!
