Very good food and really friendly service. The two brothers running the show make you feel right at home. On the pricier end but worth a try. Ask for the zabaglione at the end of the meal, a delicious treat.

There was the well-known menu with the daily specials, from which we took the fresh orange salad, the tagliatelle with Parmesan and pepper and the Tomahawk steak from Duroc pork and a hearty fish fillet. There was also the fillet steak in Gorgonzola sauce.

The salad with oranges, mozzarella, red onions was super fresh again, it's only available at certain times when the blood oranges from Italy are available, you should definitely try them.

The tagliatelle with parmesan and pepper are addictive despite being so minimalist.

The Duroc pork tomahawk steak was again very tender and beautifully marbled as usual, a very nice taste.

As a red wine we had a Primitovo, which wasn't that heavy and went well with the food, in addition to various Prosecco Rose.

For us, La Scala has been the best Italian restaurant in Hanover and the surrounding area for years.

Wir waren gestern Abend mal wieder im La Scala und wie immer begeistert. Wir hatten den schönen Tisch in der Nische, mit vier Personen sehr gemütlich. Der Laden war voll und der Service aber wie immer sehr freundlich und kompetent.

Es gab die bekannte Karte mit den Tagesangeboten, von der wir den frischen Orangensalat genommen haben, die Bandnudeln mit Parmesan und Pfeffer und das Tomahawk Steak vom Duroc-Schwein und ein wackeres Fischfilet. Außerdem gabs das Filetsteak in Gorgonzola Sauce.

Der Salat mit Orangen, Mozzarella, roten Zwiebeln war wieder mega frisch, den gibt es nur zu bestimmten Zeiten, wenn es die Blutorangen aus Italien gibt, unbedingt probieren.

Die Bandnudeln mit Parmesan und Pfeffer machen süchtig, obwohl sie so minimalistisch sind.

Das Tomahawk-Steack vom Duroc-Schwein war wieder sehr zart und wie gewohnt schön marmoriert, ein sehr schöner Geschmack.

Als Rotwein hatten wir einen Primitovo, der nicht ganz so schwer war und gut zum Essen passte, neben diversen Prosecco Rose.

Für uns ist das La Scala seit Jahren der beste Italiener in Hannover und Umkreis.
