Hotel an der Marktkirche

It's a budget Hotel so don't expect to much. However it is clean and the bed was comfortable. A bit far away from the main train station but a pleasant 40 minute stroll/walk. Many shops and eating places very close by. Would stay here again. My last stay was several years ago, so maybe by now it's been updated.

Quiet small room. Bathroom needs to be improved. The shower curtain and hand shower also need to be replaced. Can't take a normal shower.
Anyway the location is great, service is friendly.
It is an acceptable choice during the trade show period.

I stayed in this hotel for the IAA trade fair. I can't comment on value as all hotels in Hannover triple their prices during the fair. My room was small but clean and comfortable - all I needed for a two night stay. I also ate in the restaurant, which was fine, and had the breakfast, also good and not over priced at €8 as stated in another review. The hotel is very near Kroepke underground station, from where you can get to any location in town. I would stay here again.

I was at the fair with my wife and ordered a double rum for three nights. I was unfortunately sick and I went to the fair alone. It was not possible to get the money back, so I paid € 808 for one night in a hotel which may not cost more than 40 €. The owner is sour old man who should not have to do with people. But the restaurant to the hotel, I can definitely recommend, sweet and friendly service, good German food at reasonable prices.

Good hotel at the city center. Has very basic facilities and a decent restaurant. It would be better if it offered a shared kitchen.

It is a Small and cute hotel. There is no elevater. But it was no problem to us. We enjoyed our stay in hannover. I want to come again :-)
