The owner was friendly and my meal portion was huge! I had the lamb doner and I really enjoyed it. I got the combo plate with fries and a drink. I was inside and had placed my order in under 5 minutes. My food was ready 10 minutes later. I was stuffed at the end. All in all, a very positive experience.

They got two out of 4 orders wrong. The bread is not good, the sauce unfortunately neither. The veggy döner is just Salat at a few pieces of grilled vegetables. The vegan one has vegan meat on it.
We did not try real meat.
But we were really disappointed.

NOT RECOMMENDED.

Ordered 4 times to 4 different people and still they didn't remembered my order.

Waiting for a kebab (take away) for 15 minutes and there wasn't anybody else there waiting.

When I asked to pay by card, the man at the cash was frustrated- unprofessional behavior.

The kebab had good taste though.

Not bad place. Located just in front of Christuskirche. I tried just Döner, it was very tasty and fresh
Price is a little bit higher than average
There is a great choice of different varieties of food (see the menu)
The staff was very friendly and nice
It would be nice if they would accept cards

I lived for almost 5 years in Hannover till I finished my Ph.D. in 2001. When I returned to Germany two years after, the Erciyes Kebab restaurant at Steintor was what I missed most from the city. The mutton was so tender and delicious, with the fabulous original Turkish vegetables, yoghurt, and lemonade.

Very good döner at a very good price. Friendly and helpful staff and very fast service. Had lunch for two people here on 1st of August 2018 for €23 - including extra water, a starter and tea.
